On Dec. 17th,2017 there was a gathering at Plainfield’s Town Hall Opera House to celebrate Plainfield “Back in the Day”. A number of lifelong Plainfielders gathered to share what life was like in our beloved town when work horses were ubiquitous, there was a town telephone operator and kids walked to school.
